Royal Victoria Dock

The venue is among the vast network of docks and wharves that made London the largest port in the world. The Royal Victoria Dock is more or less oblong and lies roughly east-west, which is (most of the time) the direction of the prevailing breeze.

Directions

By Tube:

Take the Jubilee line to Canning Town and change onto the Docklands Light Railway towards Beckton, alight at Royal Victoria or Customs House (for ExCel). Journey times from Canning Town is 8 minutes or 45 minutes from Royal Thames Yacht Club.

By Road:

A network of roads links Docklands directly to the North Circular (A406), the M11 and M25. Payable parking is available at a nearby multi-storey car park.
